The usage of microwave is quite common in the modern day kitchens and staff rooms. Such type of electronic appliances has been around for many decades. It is an amazing piece of fact that the use of micro ovens is not at all beneficial to health. The food molecules are transformed into a combination of harmful carcinogens that can prove to be quite detrimental for health.

Though it is possible to prepare food in a fast and efficient manner but use of microwave for re heating and food preparation can surely prove to be quite injurious to health. It is a pity that most people of our modern day society are not aware of the detrimental heath problems that results due extensive use of microwave.

The best purpose for which microwave can be used is to impart heat on liquids like frozen water. Such appliances are not best fitted to impart heat on fats and sugars. One of the most common misconceptions that are a part of the society is that the cooking process is affected from the inside position of such heating appliances.

Penetration through the surface of non conductive substances is achievable by microwaves. There are two essential factors that determine the depth of penetration. The first essential factor is the frequency of microwaves. The second most important factor is the composition of food stuff.

The food compounds degrade at a faster pace if subjected to microwaving. The nutrition of the food is adversely affected if use of any microwave appliance is made. It is strongly discouraged to heat milk in a microwave as it can hurt them in an adverse way.

The microwaves are operated at a high voltage of power supply so there is every lingering possibility of electrical hazards being associated with such devices. It is always a judicious option if such appliances are used for minor cooking purposes.
